  3. the above tables of two app s are stored in a same database, the will cause software upgrade difficultly and addition coding conversion is need specially some common\u00a0 table like users<\/li>\n
  4. goal: convert big5 data to utf-8 of phpbb database<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    step<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. export phpbb tables from godaddy database server to local PC<\/li>\n
    2. import such tables into phpMyAdmin at local side<\/li>\n
    3. export these table with latin1 coding(iso-8859-1), now we can see Chinese characters in text editor e.g. Notepad ++<\/li>\n
    4. convert text to utf-8 in text editor then save<\/li>\n
    5. at phpMyadmin of godaddy database server, import these table with encoding latin1\u3002Note that phpmyadmin of Windows version doesn’t has latin1 option but has iso-8859-1, this make some loss while convertion<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. \u73fe\u5728\u5927\u591a\u6578\u8edf\u9ad4\u90fd\u5df2\u9810\u8a2d\u70bautf8\u9023\u7dda\uff0cphpbb 3\u4e5f\u4e0d\u4f8b\u5916\u3002\u70ba\u4e86\u76f8\u5bb9\u820a\u8cc7\u6599\u5eab\uff0c\u4e0a\u8ff0\u7684\u8f49\u63db\u53ea\u662f\u5c07big5\u8f49\u6210utf8\uff0c\u4f46\u6700\u7d42\u9084\u662f\u5b58\u56de\u5230latin1\u7de8\u78bc\u7684\u8cc7\u6599\u5eab\uff0c\u800c\u9019\u4f86\u5230phpBB3\u7684\u7db2\u9801\u5c31\u6703\u51fa\u73fe\u4e82\u78bc\u3002\u89e3\u6c7a\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u5c31\u662f\u79fb\u9664 include\/db\/mysql.php \u8207 include\/db\/mysqli.php \u4e2d\u7684\u00a0@mysql_query(“SET NAMES ‘utf8′”, $this->db_connect_id); \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. \u7d93\u904e\u4e0a\u8ff0\u8655\u7406\u5f8c\uff0c\u96d6\u7136\u7db2\u9801\u53ef\u4ee5\u986f\u793a\u4e2d\u6587\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5728viewforum.php\u6216\u662fviewtopic.php\u7684\u7248\u4e3b\u4ecd\u662f\u986f\u793a\u4e82\u78bc\u3002\u53ea\u80fd\u63a8\u6e2c\u5728\u505aphpBB2->3\u7684\u8f49\u63db\u6a94\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u53ef\u80fd\u6709\u7528\u5230\u00a0includes\\functions_convert.php\uff0c\u800c\u5176\u4e2d\u7684\u00a0@mysql_query(“SET NAMES ‘utf8′”, $this->db_connect_id) \u5c1a\u672a\u79fb\u9664\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u662f\u00a0install\\convertors\\functions_phpbb20.php \u8207\u00a0install\\install_convert.php \u4e5f\u6709\u00a0@mysql_query(“SET NAMES ‘utf8′”, $this->db_connect_id) \uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u5c0e\u81f4\u5728\u8a2d\u5b9a\u7248\u4e3b\u6642\uff0c\u5c07\u7248\u4e3b\u4e2d\u6587\u540d\u7a31\u5beb\u5230\u8cc7\u6599\u5eab\u8868\u683c\uff0c\u6b64\u6642\u662f\u4ee5unicode\u5beb\u5165\u3002\u4e0d\u904e\u9019\u500b\u731c\u6e2c\u662f\u932f\u7684\u3002\u56e0\u70ba\u7576uncomment\u6642\uff0c\u4e5f\u9084\u662f\u7121\u6cd5\u986f\u793a\u4e2d\u6587\u3002<\/li>\n
